THE FIXBY WINTER SERIES - 2011 / 12

Huddersfield Golf Club runs several Open Tournaments  throughout  the year, mens, ladies, seniors, juniors and mixed events.

However our quick drying fairways and USGA standard greens come into their own in winter to  provide a great days golf when other courses can be closed.

The first Winter Series of Opens last year was extremely popular so advanced booking is definitely recommended.  This year we  have two additional events, an extra Open making it four this year and  we launch the Winter Series on the 7th of October with a Special Event, the Algarve Trophy. 

 

ALGARVE TROPHY

Fixby has been chosen as one of the national qualifying courses for the Grand Final to be held in Portugal in February 2012. Qualifying competitons are also being held  in Ireland, Scotland, Wales and at courses in Denmark and Sweden.

The competition is a fourball betterball  in any combination, including juniors. See the Algarve Trophy page for more details.

 

WINTER OPENS

You can book in teams of three  and pay online for each of the four open days at £75 per event or get a discounted price of £276 for the full series of 4 events.
