Adam and Jess storm the HHDUGC Strokeplay Championships

Tuesday 6th July 2021

Sunday July 4th saw the HHDUGC Stroke play Championships being held at Crosland Heath. With a field of 50, it was a double for Fixby members with Adam Walker winning the PS Cockroft Trophy (gross 69) and Jess Hosking picking up the Jubilee Trophy (Best Junior) with a gross 72. The event was reduced to 18 holes following afternoon storms making parts of the course unplayable. Both now qualify for the knockout stages along with fellow members Josh Morton, Richard Broadley and Tom Green. Good luck to all and well done to Adam & Jess
