Mr M. R. Dempsey

It is with regret that we have to advise that Michael Dempsey (Micky D) passed away last Friday 10th October following a short illness. Micky who joined HGC in 2007 will be greatly missed by his many friends at the Club. His funeral is to be held at the Huddersfield Crematorium, on Tuesday 4th November at 12.30pm and will be followed by a celebration of his life at HGC.

Hole 18

Pro's tip

A par 5 finish. The tee shot is all uphill and the marker post is a good line. The longer hitters may be able to carry over the top of the hill and down the other side. From the top of the hill a lond shot down the fairway will leave a short pitch to a generous green which slopes uphill from the front. Bunkers guard the left and right hand sides.
